Dear Partner in the ministry,
Greetings to each of you today from our ministry. We have returned this past month from the Lexington Assessment Unit in Purcell, Oklahoma. This was an extremely large prison; it is
basically the parent unit for all those convicted in the state of Oklahoma for both male and female. Their job is to place after evaluation, each individual into the states prison system,
thus creating such a large facility. We gained this access through our badges we obtained as a result of attending training for the Oklahoma Department of Corrections in Tulsa, OK. This
trip was a wonderful trip and only confirmed what I do.
I still believe in our prison ministry and its potential in Harvest. I still believe one of the greatest Harvest fields is behind closed doors in America. We see it all the time. One of
the greatest Harvest fields in America is in our county jails, where thousands of men and women each year go to await there sentencing. However this waiting process causes a hunger process
and seeking process that I believe the Holy Spirit seeks and awaits for. I have sensed only in prisons or jails in a very anointed settings what I call a spirit of salvation or where you
sense the Spirit of God moving very heavily in a particular area of men or at the altar dealing with someone or giving them the new birth, not conviction but literally sensing the new birth
taking place, almost so holy you don not even go near. I say this to you to believe, to realize there is a Harvest in our part of the country and in our country, virtually anywhere there
is a prison there are souls waiting to be harvested.
Ezekiel declares that all souls are mine and if that soul that sins turns from it wickedness to righteousness then it shall surely live. All souls are under Gods divine ownership, their
choices are their own but all souls are his, it is our opportunity to listen to him and go where he knows there are a people open to his word. That isn't always in our part of town or
neighborhood or city, it is where God determines, or a specific unreached people ready for harvest. God has chosen prisons as one of those places just as he has chosen Russia, South America
and many other places in the world. There are specific places of ministry. God is a soul winner, a God that delights in the salvation of sinners. This was and is his purpose to reconcile
the lost to himself. To find that one sheep that has gone astray.
Zec 12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and
they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
It is God who will redirect the sinner's path because of His Spirit of Supplication and Grace. If a sinner isn't looking for God then there is a strong possibility there is no spirit of
supplication and grace, it is the enlightening process of the unbeliever, to have a mind to seek the Lord and to look upon him of whom they have pierced. This is a spiritual principle
that applies to revival or renewal upon a community or a harvest. It is this spirit of supplication and grace that is the rain that falls upon the planted seed to create a Harvest.
It is his presence that creates the Harvest and we are simply the laborers in the vineyard called out to sow or to reap. That is why the scripture says one sows and another reaps but
God gives the increase or Apollo's planted and I watered but who are we but servants of the Lord through whom you believed?
Today in our labors we need power, power to touch a heart, power to reach a soul in a darkness, we need the spirit of grace and supplication poured out in advance to bring in a harvest.
We are simply fellow laborers of God in his field, his garden, and he knows the best soil to work in, the broken hearted, the wounded, the lame, the halt, those that are defected will
often be first in his choice of selection, not him who is perfect in his own ways but he who is of a broken heart, faint in sprit this is the one who He will nourish those who are famined
in their souls and thirsty for much more than they have ever had, we must give them the opportunity to receive this grace and love..
How shall they hear without a preacher? How shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard, what can open their hearts and minds once again to receive their salvation and faith in
this society other than God himself and his messengers.
Thank you for sharing your substance or finances with us, your reward is eternal and I ask you to continue to believe in the power of the seed you invest in me or this ministry. It is
Gods ministry through human hands and may all you do continue to be blessed in this season upon the earth of closure of time and a wonderful season of salvation. Luke 8:3 records what
others did for the ministry of Christ, and we all fulfill this in our tithes and offerings.
