Luke 5:32 I have not come to arouse and invite and call the righteous,
but the erring ones (those not free from sin) to repentance to change their minds for the better and heartily to amend their ways, with abhorrence
of their past sins.
Psalm 103:3-5 Who forgives all your iniquities; Who heals all your diseases;
Who redeems your life from ruin; who crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercies; Who satisfies your mouth with good;
your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
This is what men and women whom are incarcerated need:
Forgiveness from God, Healing from Habits, Rebuilding from Ruin, Mercy and a Renewed Life
The Lords Power
The greatest activation of Gods power, love, restoration and redemption are found in these words below. His power remains inactive until
we release it by turning and giving our lives and hearts to him. His power can only become real when we say yes to him honestly.
Luke 4: 18 The Spirit of the Lord (is) upon Me, because he has anointed me (the Anointed One, the Messiah) to preach the good news (the Gospel)
to the poor;
He (the Holy Spirit) has sent Me to announce release to the captives (those bound by sin which produces bad behavior) and
recovery of sight to the blind ( the process of regaining true perception of ones self) to send forth as delivered ( to send forth
indicates full capability to be sent and help others) those who are oppressed [ who are downtrodden, bruised crushed and broken down
by calamity.
(Broken down by calamity indicates one who has experienced an event that brings terrible loss, lasting distress, or severe
affliction. Every prisoner has had this experience.
May the Spirit of the Lord turn your calamity to calm. Bless you to do His work, will
And cause you to recover insight to ourselves in order to send peace to those incarcerated.
