Greetings Church,
Our ministry just returned from a wonderful crusade at the only Arkansas Maximum Security Unit for Women.
Many ladies accepted Christ and were encouraged to continue for the Lord. There was every type of crime
represented in the prison but God has done wonderful things for those ladies. Many had been converted from
very wicked lives of homosexuality and other sins. There were around 800 ladies in the prison overall and around
180 in our services. Pastors please accept this letter as a social appeal for missions support in our region of the world.
How do we view our society? And what will it become? History proves society without Christ breeds poverty, drugs,
crime and dwelling places of Slums or the poverty stricken areas of inner city society. Do we have indifference towards
those who are not in a certain economic social status? If so we have social injustice. This is the question for the American
Cultured Churches? Jesus accepted sinners where they were and then said follow me. This concept must be adapted in Evangelism.
The word Slum as a verb is to live with indifference towards surroundings. People with addictions and incarcerated often come from places
in life that are indifferent to our usual norm. Almost all come from past lives we wouldn’t fathom in our society as normal. But God
judges not based on the outer appearance and he forgives the past lives of all individuals who receive him. We must as a people judge
on heart confessions of Christ and not on their past lives. We must also remember not all seed falls on good ground but some the cares
of this world choke.
Our cause is both spiritual and social, what helps Heaven helps Earth. Or as James the Apostle said: “He which converteth
a sinner from the error of his way saves a soul from death and shall hide a multitude of sins. Our crime and error will go down.
Where the Gospel is preached the Human ear is reached and things not only change in Heaven but in Earth as well.
This is a Fundamental Basic we all know and believe.
This is why your donations count, and together we can make a difference in our culture. At this present time compelling forces of influence
are compelling people, Christ and his presence in the Earth and Satan’s or Adam's inherited fallen nature. You see all crime is a result of Sin. Jesus said; out of the Heart proceed evil thoughts, murder,
adultery and theft. We must together realize our chance is at hand to reach our culture and give them the spiritualand social cure while
they are in prison.
